WELDERS HIT FOUR AS ARDS MISS OUT
HW Welders trounced Ards at the Blanchflower Stadium thanks to two goals apiece from Michael McLellan and Jake Corbett.
Matthew Tipton's visitors went into the game hoping to secure the last available top six spot but were dealt a blow when McLellan opened the scoring from a header after 12 minutes.
McLellan added to the Welders lead midway through the first half before Corbett added a third just short of the break.
And Corbett put paid to Ards' hopes on 58 minutes to complete the scoring and put the stamp on a comprehensive victory for the Welders.
