ANNAGH RAMPANT AT THE ARENA
Annagh United strengthened their hopes of at least a promotion play-off spot with a comprehensive defeat of Dundela at the BMG Arena.
Ciaran McGurgan's side remain in second spot, four points behind leaders Newry City but eight ahead of Loughgall and HW Welders, the nearest challengers for that play-off place.
Annagh moved in front on 20 minutes through Jordan Campbell who fired home at the back post after a corner had been flicked on.
Peter Duffin made it 2-0 just before the half-hour mark after beating keeper Marc Matthews one-on-one.
Stephen Murray added a third on the hour with a follow up effort from the edge of the box before, five minutes after that, Lee Upton rose highest to head home number four from a corner.
Dundela pulled a goal back six minutes after that when substitute Jay Magee got the final touch after the ball had initially struck the underside of the bar.
However, Scott McCullough restored Annagh's comfortable advantage with ten minutes remaining with a 40-yard strike which Matthews let slip over the line.
The scoring was completed three minutes from the end when William Faulkner grabbed another consolation for the Duns.
