PARKHILL GRABS 'STUTE HAT-TRICK
Ian Parkhill claimed the match ball with a hat-trick as Institute thumped title hopefuls Annagh United at the Brandywell.
'Stute moved in front on 18 minutes when Annagh's Lee Upton turned the ball into his own net, although Mark McFadden could also lay claim to the goal.
Parkhill bagged his first of the afternoon just before the half-hour mark when he slotted home following some good play between Gareth Brown and Jamie Dunne before Upton redeemed himself soon after to claw Annagh back into the game.
However, 'Stute restored their two-goal cushion on 41 minutes courtesy of Shaun Doherty's 40-yard free-kick past the unsighted Eoin Hughes.
Annagh were then reduced to ten men in first half stoppage time when skipper Niall Henderson was dismissed for an off the ball incident with Doherty.
Parkhill grabbed his second of the afternoon on the hour with a fantastic finish low and hard across the keeper before, with seven minutes to go, he made it a hat-trick from the spot.
