KIRK DOUBLE EARNS DERGVIEW THE WIN
Dergview picked up the points on the road with victory away to HW Welders at the Blanchflower Stadium.
The visitors moved in front after just 11 minutes when Matthew Kirk converted from the spot, awarded after Daniel McMurray had brought down Jamie Browne just inside the area.
Dergview might have doubled their advantage soon after only to strike the woodwork while the Welders had a goal ruled out for foul play and offside respectively either side of the break.
But the Welders did get back on level terms just after the hour through Jake Corbett after the ball fell for him at the far post to send a half volley past keeper Patrick McGarvey.
However, Dergview grabbed what proved to be the winner with ten minutes remaining when Kirk doubled his tally with a low cross from the right.
