MALLARDS WIN BIG ON THE ROAD
Four different scorers helped third placed Ballinamallard United sweep to victory away to Knockbreda.
Christopher Kelly opened the scoring for the Mallards on 13 minutes, although they were almost pegged back just after the half-hour mark but keeper Jamie Ray did well to save a 'Breda penalty.
However, Richard Clarke doubled the Mallards lead soon after with the second penalty of the game in an incident that also saw the home side reduced to ten men following Liam McKenna's dismissal for a second bookable offence.
Reece Byrne then made it 3-0 to the visitors five minutes into the second half.
Knockbreda came back into the game after that, pulling one back with an Anthony Burns header before Brendan Glackin set up a grandstand finish to reduce the deficit further still.
But there was to be no late drama when Darragh Byrne popped up in the 94th minute to make sure for the Mallards.
