VILLAGERS BACK INTO SECOND
Loughgall moved back into second spot with a sweeping 4-1 defeat of Knockbreda at Lakeview Park.
The visitors were dealt a blow after just 19 minutes when skipper Ross McCaughan received his marching orders for serious foul play but, despite this, it took Loughgall until a couple of minutes before the break to take advantage when Tiernan Kelly headed home from Mark Patton's corner.
Indeed, 'Breda even levelled just before the hour mark through recent loan signing from Larne, Max Greer, but the Villagers got back on top ten minutes after that when debutant Caolan McAleer tapped the ball home after it had rebounded off an upright.
Then, with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining, Nathaniel Ferris added a third with another tap in before, deep into stoppage time, Nedas Maciulaitis made it four to complete the scoring.
