FRIDAY NIGHT DELIGHT FOR NEWRY
Newry City continued their charge at the top of the Lough 41 Championship with a Friday night defeat of Dundela at The Showgrounds.
Darren Mullen's side almost moved in front after a quarter-of-an-hour when the woodwork was hit twice in quick succession from a corner while, later in the half, only a good stop from Duns keeper Marc Matthews kept the sides level.
However, what proved to be the winner came eight minutes from the break when Philip Donnelly fired a strong strike into the roof of the net from inside the area.
