IGIEHON AT THE DOUBLE FOR DERGVIEW
Benny Igiehon scored both goals as Dergview defeated Ballinamallard United in the festive derby at Darragh Park.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute when he turned the ball past Rory Brown from a corner.
At the other end both Callum Moorehead and Joshua McIlwaine saw efforts blocked by the home defence while the Mallards had later penalty appeals following a challenge on Christopher Kelly waved away by the referee.
However, Igiehon struck again six minutes from the break to double Dergview's lead, an advantage they ultimately held for the remainder of the game.
The visitors ended the game with ten men following Lee Warnock's 55th minute dismissal for foul play, his second caution of the game.
