NEWRY STRENGTHEN GRIP ON TOP SPOT
League leaders Newry City continued their charge at the top of the Lough 41 Championship with a two-goal victory over third placed Annagh United at The Showgrounds.
Both goals came in the first half, with Philip Donnelly opening the scoring as early as the eighth minute.
Then, five minutes before the break, Declan Carville added a second to put Darren Mullen's side into a strong position for the remainder of the game.
