VILLAGERS GO SECOND FOLLOWING BRANDYWELL WIN
Loughgall moved into second spot in the Lough 41 Championship following a two-goal win over Institute at the Brandywell.
Institute were reduced to ten men midway through the first half when Joel Gorman was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Mark Carson.
But despite having a numerical advantage it took the Villagers until the stroke of half-time to take advantage when Nedas Maciulaitis turned the opening goal past John Connolly.
And that was how it stayed until the final ten minutes when substitute Mark Patton doubled the lead when a sweet strike from the edge of the box to giving Connolly no chance.
