'BREDA HAVE THE EDGE OVER THE VILLAGERS
Loughgall missed out on the chance to move into second spot in the Lough 41 Championship following a 2-1 home defeat to Knockbreda.
All three goals came in the opening half-an-hour or so. Cillin Gilmour fired 'Breda in front from the spot after nine minutes but the Villagers levelled with 25 minutes on the clock with the second penalty of the game.
However, Dylan Whiteway restored Knockbreda's advantage eight minutes after that to ultimately secure the points for Colin McIlwrath's side and to gain revenge for a 6-1 loss against Loughgall back in September.
Loughgall were presented with a last gasp opportunity to salvage something from the game but Scott McCullough was unable to convert from the spot in the 94th minute.
