Newry City and Loughgall battled to an equal share of the points at The Showgrounds as the first full round of Lough 41 Championship games came to an end.
Alan Teggart opened the scoring for the Villagers with a strike from the edge of the box after 19 minutes, a lead they held for 50 minutes before 18-year-old James Teelan levelled for Newry.
The home side ended the game with ten men following Mark Hughes' 83rd minute dismissal after receiving his second caution of the afternoon.
Darren Mullen's side sit second in the table, a couple of points behind leaders Ards, whilst Loughgall are five points further adrift in fifth spot.
