NIP AND TUCK AT FERNEY PARK
Ballinamallard United and Loughgall failed to produce any goals in a closely fought encounter at Ferney Park.
The Villagers created the first effort of note on five minutes but Mark Patton fired past the far post after cutting in from the left.
Dale Malone had an opportunity later in the first half but could only drag the past the left post from the edge of box while, for the Mallards, Niall Grace curled the ball over from out on the left.
The nip and tuck nature of the game continued into the second half, but it was the Mallards that came closest to finding a way through when Ryan Morrow saw an effort well saved before the Mallards struck the upright in the closing moments with the follow up going just wide.
