WELDERS RETURN TO WINNING WAYS
Gary Smyth's Welders returned to winning ways with victory over Knockbreda at Breda Park.
After victory in the opening game of the season the Welders slipped to defeats to leading duo Newry City and Ards.
However, a Michael McLellan header in the first half was enough to see the East Belfast side pick up another three points and move back up the table.
Earlier in the game 'Breda had an opportunity to open the scoring but were thwarted when Welders keeper Ben McCauley denied Cillin Gilmour from the spot.
