SALLEY AND MURRAY ON TARGET FOR LEADERS PORTADOWN
Second half goals from Adam Salley and Stephen Murray guided Portadown to victory over PSNI at The Dub.
The Ports remain six points clear at the top of the table but despite going in scoreless at the break could have opened the scoring in the first half through right post efforts from both Salley and Murray while Chris Lavery later fired over following a goalmouth scramble before PSNI keeper Lewis Brown punched away a Liam McKenna free-kick.
But the deadlock was eventually broken just before the hour when Salley got the final touch after the ball bounced around the PSNI box.
Then, 13 minutes later, Murray made it 2-0 after getting on the end of a long ball forward and outpacing James Turk before finishing past Brown.
