THREE FOR VILLAGERS AT THE SHOWGROUNDS
Loughgall made it three Championship wins from three over Newry City with victory at The Showgrounds to keep very much in touch with the tussle at the top of the table.
Peter Campbell opened the scoring for the visitors midway through the first half to bring his tally for the season to 21 across all competitions.
That was how it stayed for the remainder of the first half, but not long after the restart Newry were reduced to ten men following Declan Carville's dismissal for violent conduct.
Boosted by this, the Villagers went on to double their advantage on 66 minutes through Jordan Gibson with Ben Neill adding a third with just under a quarter-of-an-hour to go.
