NO GOALS AT WILGAR
Dundela and Newry City failed to find the net in this scoreless Bluefin Sport Championship encounter at Wilgar Park.
The pick of the few chances created in the first half Newry's Declan Carville produced a diving save from Dundela keeper Ryan McBride with a well taken right foot effort from outside the area.
After the break, Dundela's Ross Holden showed some nice footwork 20-yards from goal only to ultimatey send the ball over the target.
At the other end, following a period of pressure, Mark Hughes sent the ball across the face of goal but Stefan Lavery wasn't quick enough to connect at the left post.
Jonathan Doey had a chance for the Duns after that but sent the ball over at the right post before it was Newry's chance to have another sight at goal but despite doing well to control the ball with his chest Carville flashed his subsequent shot wide of the far post.
And there was further frustration for the visitors when Adam Foley, despite being in a good position, sliced at the ball before sending it sailing over from inside the area.
