ARDS HIT FIVE PAST DERGVIEW
Ards swept to an ultimately comprehensive defeat of Dergview at the Bangor Fuels Arena to further strengthen their hopes of making the top six split.
Conall Young opened the scoring on seven minutes on what was his debut following his transfer window arrival from Warrenpoint Town before two goals just short of the half-hour mark from Kyle Calderwood and Johnny Taylor put John Bailie's side into a commanding position.
Dergview did reduce the deficit slightly courtesy of Matthew Callaghan's 33rd minute finish while Emmet McNabb, with his fourth goal in three games, closed the gap to one goal with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
However, Salou Jallow restored Ards' two-goal cushion on 79 minutes with Sam Dinu adding number five in the closing moments.
