QUEEN'S TOO STRONG FOR 'BREDA
Queen's University, fresh from their cup heroics from a week ago, kept up their good form with a four-goal defeat of bottom of the table Knockbreda at The Dub.
Ben Mulgrew opened the scoring for Peter Thompson's side with just under a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock before, on 39 minutes, leading scorer Matty Hughes brought his tally for the season to 12 to double the Students' advantage.
Then, six minutes into the second half, Jonah Mitchell added a third to kill the game off while Philip Traynor knocked home number four with 12 minutes remaining.
Knockbreda's afternoon got worse a couple of minutes later when Fra Rice was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
