McMILLAN STOPPAGE TIME WINNER GIVES ARDS THE POINTS
Scott McMillan grabbed a stoppage time winner as Ards defeated Ballinamallard United 3-2 at the Bangor Fuels Arena.
In the only Championship game to beat the Saturday weather, the former HW Welders man struck on 93 minutes to nod the ball past John Connolly to secure the points which moved Warren Feeney's side back up to fifth spot in the table.
Michael McLellan had fired Ards in front on 19 minutes with a close range finish but Nathan Cashel headed the Mallards level on the stroke of half-time.
The visitors then moved in front six minutes into the second half courtesy of a cracking finish from Callum Moorehead before, with a quarter-of-an-hour to go, David McAllister made it 2-2 with another header.
Then, just as it looked like the points would be shared, McMillan turned home his third goal for Ards since joining from HW Welders in the summer.
