VILLAGERS BAG SIX AT LAKEVIEW PARK
Loughgall hit the PSNI for six at Lakeview Park to remain level on points at the top of the standings.
Despite coming close on numerous occasions it took the Villagers until the 34th minute to open the scoring when a mistake by Andrew Ferguson eventually resulted in the ball falling for Jordan Gibson to fire home from the edge of the six yard box.
A couple of minutes later it was 2-0 with Nathaniel Ferris touching the ball home on the line after Conor Kerr had knocked it over from the right side of the box.
Then, two minutes from the break, Peter Campbell added a third with a superb volley from the edge of the area into the bottom right corner.
The scoring continued on 72 minutes courtesy of Ferris' spot-kick awarded after he had been bundled over by James Turk.
It was five on 86 minutes when James Rea crossed from the left for Andrew Hoey before, right at the end, Dale Malone completed the scoring from 18 yards via a wicked deflection off Owen MacLeod.
