MALLARDS WIN AGAIN TO STAY IN CONTENTION
Ballinamallard United defeated Dergview at Ferney Park to remain very much within the leading pack at the top of the Bluefin Sport Championship.
The Mallards, just two points behind leaders Portadown and second placed Loughgall, moved in front with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock when Richard Clarke clinically scored from the spot after Matthew Buchanan was penalised for bringing down Ryan O'Reilly.

Dervgiew pulled one back on the stroke of half-time when Garth Falconer's initial effort was blocked in the six yard box only for Simon McGlynn to pounce on the loose ball at point blank range.
After the break the Mallards came close when Ryan Morris went on a surging run through the middle of the park before finding Christopher Kelly but Philip Wallace was on hand to clear the danger just as Ryan Campbell looked poised to pounce at the far post.
Harry McConkey's side had the ball in the net for a third time but O'Reilly's header from a well worked corner was ruled out offside.
At the other end Paul Smith almost levelled for Dergview but John Connolly did well to saw low to his right to tip the ball around the post.
Campbell and Smyth had further chances for the Mallards before Connolly saved the day again with a late save to thwart Graham Young in the closing moments.
