STYLISH COMRADES SINK VILLAGERS AT LAKEVIEW
Ballyclare Comrades claimed their first away win of the season with a stylish 4-1 defeat of title hopefuls Loughgall at Lakeview Park.
The visitors moved in front ten minutes before the break through Joe Tully's close range finish after Thomas Robinson delivered the ball into the six-yard box from the right.
Fra Nolan made it 2-0 three minutes into the second half when he pounced on the loose ball from Ciaran Dobbin's initial effort to squeeze the ball home just inside the post.
Ballyclare went further ahead with just a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when Robinson beat Gareth Buchanan from 15 yards into the corner of the net.
The Villagers pulled a goal back with five minutes remaining when Peter Campbell got on the end of a ball played across he box but, sixty seconds later, Jake McNeill restored Ballyclare's three-goal advantage after beating a defender and lifting the ball over the keeper.
