FIRST HALF GOAL BLITZ HELPS QUEEN'S STORM TO VICTORY
Dundela crashed back down to earth following their midweek League Cup success with a heavy defeat to Queen's University at The Dub.
After victory over Larne at Inver Park, the Duns perhaps harboured hopes their form would carry on into the Championship campaign and a push to move back into the top three.
At the other end of the table it was an important win for the Students on a weekend which saw fellow strugglers HW Welders also pick up three points.
Queen's raced into a commanding first half lead with Jonah Mitchell, Matthew Hughes, David Magee and Mitchell again all finding the net before Tiarnan McNicholl pulled one back for the Duns on the stroke of half-time.
McNicholl then reduced the lead further, albeit only as late as the 80th minute, before substitute Ciaran O'Hare restored the three goal cushion for Queen's a minute after that.
