CLINICAL VILLAGERS HIT FOUR PAST WELDERS
A blistering seven minute spell midway through the first half ensured Loughgall swept to victory over HW Welders at Lakeview Park.
The Villagers opened the scoring on 23 minutes through Jordan Gibson's side foot finish after Nathaniel Ferris had cut the ball back from the byline.
Then, a minute later, Ferris found the net himself with a low header from Peter Campbell's left-wing cross ... and the scoring continued on the half-hour mark when Andrew Hoey knocked the ball home from the spot.
The Welders pulled a goal back on 64 minutes through Luckas Gwiazda who headed past Gareth Buchanan from six yards after a corner from the left was headed back across goal.
But, eight minutes later, Ferris completed the scoring and doubled his tally with a daisy cutter from outside the box.
