POINTS, GOALS - AND REDS - SHARED AT TILLYSBURN
HW Welders and Dergview couldn't be separated in a tit-for-tat four goal encounter at Tillysburn Park.
Scoreless for the majority of the first half, both sides struck just before the interval in a frenzied finish to the half.
Paul Smith opened the scoring for the visitors in the final throes of the opening 45 minutes when he got free down the right to roll the ball past Ryan Miskelly off the inside of the post.
However, there was still time for Luckas Gwiazda to level for the Welders after he rose highest to meet a cross from the left to direct a header past Alan Buchanan.
The Welders were reduced to ten men just before the hour following Ryan Deans' dismissal for a reckless challenge.
Then, with ten minutes left, Dergview moved in front courtesy of Matthew Buchanan's drive from outside the box into the top corner.
But again the Welders levelled, albeit seven minutes later this time, through Ross Arthurs who collected the ball some 40 yards out before outpacing the Dergview defence to finish into the bottom corner.
The visitors finished with ten men themselves after keeper Buchanan was shown a straight red card for handling outside the box and preventing an obvious scoring opportunity.
