FERRIS DOUBLE HELPS VILLAGERS TO DUB VICTORY OVER PSNI
Loughgall swept to a comfortable 4-1 win over bottom of the table PSNI at the Dub.
Nathaniel Ferris opened the scoring on 14 minutes with a right foot finish from inside the area after receiving the ball from Dale Malone.
Tony Tumelty levelled for the PSNI eight minutes from the break when a breakdown in communication between Loughgall defender Fra Brennan and keeper Gareth Buchanan presented him with a simple finish into an unguarded goal.
Peter Campbell restored Loughgall's lead on the stroke of half-time with a right-sided volley in off the crossbar after his initial corner came back out to him.
Ferris then made it 3-1 with a close range looping header into the net after a cross had been delivered from the left.
Substitute Andrew Hoey completed the scoring right at the end with a dink over Oliver Fleetham from the edge of the six-yard box.
