KELLY SCORES STOPPAGE TIME LEVELLER FOR MALLARDS
Ballinamallard United grabbed a stoppage time equaliser to earn a point from Ards' visit to Ferney Park.
Ards moved into the lead on 21 minutes after Mallards defender Matthew Smyth was adjudged to have handled inside the area but despite John Connolly getting a hand to Craig McMillen's spot-kick he was unable to stop the follow-up.
Smyth almost redeemed himself on 36 minutes when he connected with Duwayne McManus' free-kick only to send a header onto the crossbar.
The Mallards had chances again early in the second half but both Ryan Campbell and Nathan Cashel saw shots blocked while, at the other end Eamon McAllister twice tested Connolly.
Ballinamallard kept pushing for the equaliser with Campbell, Sean McEvoy and then McManus all seeing shots cleared off the line before, in stoppage time, Christopher Kelly finally found a way through with a close range header from Ross Taheny's cross.
