WHITES STAGE REMARKABLE REVIVAL

Lisburn Distillery staged a remarkable turnaround to defeat Sport & Leisure Swifts at New Grosvenor.

Darren Gallagher fired Sport & Leisure in front after ten minutes when Patrick Doyle threaded a through ball between Conor Curran and Jason Hill.

Then, on 35 minutes, the visitors doubled their advantage through Ryan Burns' close range finish after the home defence failed to clear a corner.

The Whites began their fightback five minutes after that thanks to James Wright slotting past Patrick Saunders after connecting with a Michael O'Hanlon pass.

And they levelled before the break courtesy of a deflected Paul Young shot before, five minutes into the second half, Matthew Ferguson tipped the balance in their favour by lifting the ball over Saunders as he rushed off his goalline.

Swifts were reduced to ten men not long after that when Burns was dismissed for serious foul play before, on the hour, Aaron Harris made it 4-2 from the edge of the six-yard box after runnng onto a cross.

Wright doubled his tally on 67 minutes with a header after Ferguson beat the offside trap to get a cross in.

Francis Dugan added a sixth on 79 minutes from an O'Hanlon pass before, with three minutes left, Jonathan McCaw rattled home Distillery's seventh from outside the area.
