WHITES MAKE IT FOUR IN A ROW

Lisburn Distillery made it four wins on the bounce with victory over Moyola Park at New Grosvenor.

The Whites started brightly with Daire Rooney curling an effort from the right onto the top of the crossbar after 11 minutes.

Moyola might have broken the deadlock just after the half-hour mark through a Tiarnan Rafferty free-kick but home keeper Jonah Nicholl was alert to the threat to tip the ball over.

Indeed, the visitors did find the net soon after but Daniel McIlhatton's finish from another Rafferty set piece was ruled out offside.

However, McIlhatton wasn't to be denied just two minutes into the second half when he was given time on the edge of the box to direct a low shot past Nicholl into the bottom left corner.

But Distillery levelled just after the hour mark when a Timmy Clarke corner was knocked on by Nick Beta for Rooney to head home at the back post.

Then, with 12 minutes to go, the Whites edged in front through Paul Young who did well to collect a Rooney cross with his back to goal before turning to fire what proved to be the winner beyond Marcin Farniok.
