SEASIDERS STAGE LATE REVIVAL TO EARN POINT

Bangor clawed back from two goals down to share a point from this clash with Lisburn Distillery at the Bangor Fuels Arena.

Scoreless at the break, both sides had their chances to seize the half-time advantage with Distillery's Alan McMurty coming closest when he blasted an effort off the crossbar from just inside the box.

Jonathan McCaw fired the visitors in front just after the hour with a spectacular finish after collecting a throw-in, taking one touch to control the ball and then beating 'keeper Darren Gibbons with a dipping effort into the top right corner.

The Whites doubled their advantage on 81 minutes. Timmy Clarke created the opening after playing the ball through for the onrushing Young to lift the ball over Gibbons as the 'keeper drifted off his line.

Bangor pulled a goal back a couple of minutes later courtesy of substitute Aaron Dalzell when he rose highest from six yards out to meet a delivery from the right.

Then, right at the end of normal time, the Seasiders levelled when defender Gareth Beattie directed a header into the top left corner from Andy Long's right-sided cross.
