SEAHAWKS SWEEP TO THE WIN WITH ELDER DOUBLE

Two Thomas Elder goals saw Portstewart sweep to victory over Sport & Leisure Swifts at Glen Road Heights.

After scoring the winner on Saturday Elder brought his tally to three in as many days with a goal in each half.

Opening the scoring on 39 minutes, the former Carrick Rangers man then doubled Portstewart's lead just before the hour to move the Seahawks into the top six whilst the Swifts are now seven points adrift at the bottom with only three games left to play.
