SEAHAWKS KEEP YET ANOTHER CLEAN SHEET

Two Tommy Elder goals helped Portstewart sweep to victory over Lisburn Distillery at New Grosvenor.

For the Whites it was a second successive heavy defeat following last week's four-goal reversal to Tobermore United while, for the visiting Seahawks, it marked a fifth game in a row in which keeper Andy Findlay has kept a clean sheet.

Elder opened the scoring midway through the first half with Caolan Gillan adding a second not long after the interval, his first goal for the club since joining from Dunloy during the transfer window.

30-year-old Elder then completed the scoring with nine minutes remaining.
