Two Saul McCaughan goals helped Portstewart defeat Armagh City at Mullaghacall.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring with his third goal of the campaign as early as the eighth minute after turning the ball past City keeper Daniel Devine from a corner.

That was how it stayed until the 69th minute when McCaughan doubled his tally, again after a corner had reached the City box.

Armagh pulled one back five minutes later through Adam Pedlow from close range following a good build up down the left.

The visitors ended the game with ten men following Shane Corrigan's late dismissal for collecting a second caution.
