QUEEN'S GO FIVE CLEAR AT THE TOP

Queen's University moved five points clear at the top of the Bluefin Sport Premier Intermediate League with victory over Newington at Solitude.

The Students moved in front just before the break when Connor Mulholland fired into the top corner after Matthew Hughes laid the ball off.

It was a lead the visitors held until the 79th minute when Ethan Devine pulled one back for the Swans but Chris Middleton made sure of the points for Queen's with a successfully converted spot-kick right at the end.
