ODD GOAL IN FIVE HELPS MOYOLA TO DERBY WIN

Morning leaders Tobermore United slipped off the top of the table following a derby defeat to Moyola Park at Mill Meadow.

Kyle Beggs opened the scoring for Moyola after just 11 minutes, a lead extended by Daniel McIlhatton after the half-hour mark.

Tiarnan Rafferty added a third with five minutes left at the end of the first half but Conor Kearns handed Tobermore a glimmer of hope with a successfully converted spot-kick in added time.

Chasing the game in the second half, Tobermore further reduced the deficit through leading scorer Peter Duffin just before the hour but Mervyn Pattison's Moyola held on to claim the points.
