NO GOALS BUT PLENTY OF ACTION AT GLEN ROAD HEIGHTS

The Whites enjoyed the first real effort on goal when Steven Hislop nodded the ball towards Alan McMurty but his thumping effort went straight at 'keeper Michael Magill.

At the other end Padraig McKissock forced Tony Galbraith into a diving save at the bottom left corner before play switched again for McMurty's cross to be almost bunded over by Jonathan McCaw.

Swifts might have snatched the advantage just before the break but James Daly's curling effort just went past the top right corner.

McCaw came close again after the break with a free-kick just beyond the left upright while, for the Swifts, Anthony McConnell saw a flicked effort trickle inches wide.

McMurty threatened again with a low effort towards the bottom right with McCaw firing the rebound over.

Tirrell McCrory came closer still after that only to see his thumping header cannon back off the underside of the bar.

Both sides were reduced to ten men on 79 minutes following an altercation between Hislop and Declan Moore while Swifts lost another man with five minutes remaining after Ryan Burns picked up his second caution.
