NI FOOTBALL AWARDS 2019: PIL TEAM OF THE YEAR

This season’s Premier Intermediate Team of the Year has been announced ahead of the 2019 NI Football Awards.

The best eleven from the NI Football League’s third-tier has been selected by nominations from managers of clubs within the league and voting members from the NI Football Writers’ Association.

Champions Queens’ University lead the way with five players in the team, with second placed Annagh United boasting three members and one apiece for Banbridge Town, Moyola Park and Tobermore United.

The NI Football Awards will be held on Monday 13 May at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast and will be streamed live via the NI Football League’s Facebook page.

Defenders - Josh Corry (Queen’s University), Kyle McVey (Tobermore United), Jordan Campbell (Annagh United), Ronan Young (Queen’s University)

Midfielders – Craig Taylor (Annagh United), Daniel McIlhatton (Moyola Park), Niall Henderson (Annagh United), Matthew Hughes (Queen’s University)
