NI FOOTBALL AWARDS 2019: PIL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

This nominees for the Premier Intermediate Player of the Year have been revealed ahead of the 2019 NI Football Awards.

The top performers from the NI Football League’s third-tier has been selected by nominations from managers of clubs within the league and voting members from the NI Football Writers’ Association.

Nominated are Queen’s University’s Ryan McCready who fired the Students to the title and promotion with 13 league goals for Peter Thompson’s side.

The division’s leading goalscorer Stephen McCavitt was a thorn in the side of defences all season with 14 goals in 20 league games for Banbridge Town.

Annagh United captain Niall Henderson has impressed in the middle of the park for the County Armagh side and the 31-year-old has brought a wealth of experience to Ciaran McGurgan’s young side this term.

The NI Football Awards will be held on Monday 13 May at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast and will be streamed live via the NI Football League’s Facebook page.
