LATE GOALS SECURE TOP SIX SPOT FOR BANBRIDGE

Two late goals helped Banbridge Town to an away win over Donegal Celtic and, in the process, secure a post-split top six spot.

Scoreless for most of the game, Karl Rossborough eventually broke the deadlock with a 70th minute opener for the Hoops.

However, in a dramatic conclusion, Banbridge levelled with a minute of normal time remaining through Neil Clydesdale's volley into the top corner after an initial Conor Downey effort had come back off the crossbar.

Then, four minutes into stoppage time, substitute Michael Allison was fouled in the box and, from the subsequent spot-kick, Timmy Grant stepped up to convert what proved to be the winner.
