KILLYMOON Rangers had to come from behind to win this entertaining match with Chimney Corner, played at a windswept Sports Arena in Cookstown on Saturday.

The visitors took the lead on seven minutes, Gareth McElhatton was forced into a save and the rebound fell for Conor Murray, who headed in from one yard out.

Daryl Shannon had a couple of shots for Killymoon, one saved and the other wide. Killymoon equalized from the spot on 23 minutes, William Montgomery was pulled down, and Steven McElhatton scored from the spot.

Gareth McCaw had a stunning shot pushed onto the bar by David Rowan but, on 38 minutes, a Willie Ferguson cross was headed home by Warren Smith.

Corner were reduced to ten men a minute later following Samuel McVicker's dismissal for a foul on McCaw.

After squandering several chances Killymoon sealed the victory after a long clearance was headed on by Gary Crooks for Montgomery to score.
