Tobermore United got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Lurgan Celtic at Fortwilliam Park.

The visitors had a chance to take the lead on ten minutes but nobody in a hooped jersey was able to get a touch on Rioghan Crawford's cross while, a minute later, a free-kick from Philip Kerr went just wide.

On 20 minutes the home side could have taken the lead but Celtic keeper Ciaran Fox managed to hold on to the ball after a goalmouth scramble.

After the break it was one way traffic, with Conor Kearns giving Tobermore the lead from the penalty spot after Stephen Lamont was fouled in the box on 47 minutes.

On the hour mark, a free kick from Kearns was just over the bar but, on 67 minutes, he doubled Tobermore's lead from the spot again.

On 68 minutes Celtic were reduced to ten men after Aaron Rogers received his second yellow of the afternoon. Lamont put the ball over the bar from close range as Tobermore pushed for a third goal. With 15 minutes left, Andrew Whiteside headed over from a Ryan Winton free kick.
