Distillery might have moved in front early in the game when Joe Reid was unlucky to see his shot through a crowded area strike the inside of an upright.

Queen's took the lead on 20 minutes through Chris Middleton who controlled a Ryan McCready header to direct the ball past Jonah Nicholl.

Nicholl denied McCready after that as the visitors looked to increase their lead.

Further chances followed as the game progressed with Lorcan McIlroy and Matt Hughes threatening.

But, right at the end of normal time, Alan McMurtry earned a point for the Whites with a successfully converted spot-kick.
