ANNAGH HIT FOUR TO STRETCH UNBEATEN RUN

Annagh United hit four goals to defeat Lurgan Celtic at Knockramer Park.

The visitors took the lead with 18 minutes gone when Michael Gault lofted a left wing cross to the back post and the unmarked Brian McIlmurray nodded it past Conor Larkin.

Celtic drew level just after the half hour mark. Marcus Murphy received the ball out left and, breaking into the box, turned inside a defender and placed a right footed shot across the keeper and into the back of the net.

Craig Taylor restored Annagh's lead four minutes into the second half when he made the most of some defensive lapses to slot home beyond Larkin.

A third goal followed soon after when a simple lofted free-kick was nodded into the net by McIlmurray for his second of the game.

McIlmurray turned provider for Annagh's fourth on 64 minutes, sending a cross from the left for former Celtic player Ruairi McDonald to apply the finishing touch.
