Michael Allison (90 2)

Paul Young (06)

The Whites needed just six minutes to open the scoring after Paul Young cut inside from the right to fire, via a slight deflection, past Gerard McErlean in the home goal.

The visitors might have doubled their advantage on 28 minutes when Nick Beta was inches wide after connecting with a cross from the left.

At the other end Stephen Teggart turned an effort into the side netting after Joe Todd and Timmy Grant had combined to create the opening while, soon after, Stephen Acheson just failed to connect properly with a Ryan Moffatt free-kick.

Moving into the second half, Town went in search of the equaliser but the visiting defence held strong against wave after wave of attack.

But Banbridge continued to ask questions with Teggart feeling he could have done better when James Wilson and substitute Michael Allison teed him up to fire straight at 'keeper Jonah Nicholl.

However, the equaliser eventually arrived deep into stoppage time when Allison volleyed home following a cross from the right.
