Limavady United climbed into the top half of the table with a performance full of character and resolve.

The first half was a virtual non-event, and a long range effort from Glenn Law in the 22nd minute apart, the home side failed to trouble the visitors. At the other end 'Breda had a couple of half chances just before the half hour but on both occasions Wells was able to deny them.

On 65 minutes 'Breda went ahead with a neat goal, as Lewis Irwin nipped in to score from closing range, stabbing the ball in from close range after Karl Hamill had been allowed too much time to get into the box.

However the lead was short lived when Ryan Logue equalised three minutes later with an exceptional solo strike. Picking up the ball in the middle of the pitch, he beat his man, drove forward into the box and then fired the ball into the net.

In the 83rd minute the Roesiders were ahead for the first time after a ball into the box was skied by a defender and when it came back into play Robbie Hume collected it and his ball across the box was tapped in by substitute Joel Bradley.

The points were safe three minutes later. United were awarded a free-kick wide on the right which Paul Owens crashed off the bar with Bradley the first to react with a poachers instinct to score from close range.
