Loughgall moved back into third spot following this draw with fellow challengers Carrick Rangers at Lakeview Park.
Despite the testing conditions both sides had their chances during the first half with Lloyd Anderson seeing an effort saved by Gareth Buchanan while, at the other end, Marc McConnell's shot looped over Aaron Hogg only for the wind to push it past the post.
Carrick took the lead on 37 minutes when from a corner when Daniel Kelly reacted quickest to turn the ball into the net from a goalmouth scramble.
Loughgall created the better chances after the break, but it took them until the 70th minute to find the equaliser when Peter Campbell converted from the spot after Caolan Loughran had brought down Nathaniel Ferris.
The visitors were reduced to ten men three minutes later when Martin Murray was dismissed for a two-footed challenge on Campbell.
Loughgall almost grabbed the winner late in the game when David McCullough turned an effort against the crossbar.
