LARNE HIT FIVE TO KEEP WINNING STREAK GOING

Larne hit five goals without reply past relegated Donegal Celtic in a commanding Tuesday night performance at Inver Park.

Anto McGonnell opened the scoring as early as the second minute with a deflected effort past Sean McIlhone from just outside the area after a corner was only partially cleared.

Darren Stuart added a second with a composed effort on 18 minutes before, not long after, Thomas Robinson got on the end of an Eoin Gillan pass to fire home number three in off an upright.

The scoring continued just before the hour when Stuart doubled his tally from close range after Robinson turned provider.

And Stuart also had a hand in Larne's fifth with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when he teed Paul Maguire up to beat McIlhone into the corner of the net.
