Larne recorded a well deserved 2-1 win over HW Welders at Inver Park to move themselves into second place in the table.
Despite going a goal down David McAlinden's men showed grit to recover and seal a win they were good value for.
Much of the first half was played in torrential rain, but both sides continued to look to get the ball down and play football.
Somewhat against the run of play the Welders took the lead after 34 minutes. Scott McMillan got in front of his man at a corner and nodded the visitors into the lead.
Undeterred, Larne pressed on and the equaliser arrived nine minutes later. Good work on the right from Matthew Henry resulted in Samuel McIlveen having an effort on goal. His effort was parried by Samuel Johnston and Michael Smith kept his cool to slot home.
Two minutes after the break Smith turned provider for Paul Maguire, but the club captain was unable to get enough on his flicked effort to trouble Johnston.
Danny McKee might have restored the Welders' lead on 57 minutes, howevert his header was well tipped over by Joel Madison.
Darren Stuart had a great chance to restore Larne's lead on 60 minutes, after being found by Gerard Thompson, but Johnston saved low to his left.
The winner arrived a couple of minutes later when Smith danced his way into the box and brought a point blank save from Johnston. Henry was quick on the scene however to smash the rebound into the roof of the net.
Substitute Ethan Boylan came closest for the visitors, but it was the home side had more clear cut opportunities to seal victory, as the Welders pushed forward in search of an equaliser. In the end McAlinden's men held on to seal all three points.
