LARNE BAG FOUR TO MAKE IT A BAKER'S DOZEN

Larne hit four goals without reply past PSNI to stretch their lead at the top of the table to 13 points at the halfway stage of the season.

After a couple of near misses at either end, Larne broke the deadlock on 37 minutes when Jeff Hughes turned the ball past Jordan Williamson at the second attempt after his initial effort from a Chris Ramsey cross was blocked.

Martin Donnelly made it 2-0 just after the hour, slipping the ball under the keeper from a deflection.

Then, two goals in as many minutes with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining put the game to bed.

Tomas Cosgrove made it 3-0 on 77 minutes with a composed finish into the bottom corner followed swiftly by Darren Stuart's backpost touch from Cosgrove's right-wing cross.
